Backgrounds
Ado Ellzey is the CEO of the EllzeyGroup, Inc. which focuses on IT solutions, process engineering & reengineering, business analytics, project management, and education/training. He has 36+ years in the Information Technology industry with IBM Corp and HP Corp. Experience in administration, marketing, tech support, global data privacy, merchandising, data center, project mgmt, and IT consulting. In addition, he is a Life Member of the Alcorn State University National Alumni Association where he held several positions in the Metro-Atlanta Alcorn Alumni Chapter. He is a Life member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. where he held several positions in the Phi Beta Sigma Sigma Chapter located in Atlanta, GA.
Faye Rashid is originally from Brooklyn, NY. Upon graduating high school, Ms. Rashid left her familiar surroundings to continue her education at Norfolk, State University. She later enlisted in the United States Air Force where she served her country for 6 years. Upon completion of her military
commitment, Ms. Rashid transitioned from active duty to the civilian sector working for the Department of the Navy in Yokosuka, Japan; Army Corps of Engineers in Jacksonville, FL; Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake in Ridgecrest, CA; and spent 6 years at Pearl Harbor Naval Base in Honolulu, HI.
Faye moved to Atlanta, GA in September 2000 and began working in Public Health at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where she is a senior public health advisor. She has held field assignments as Deputy Director, Management and Operations, at CDC at the Embassy in Abidjan Cote
d’Ivoire (West Africa) and the CDC Angola Office (South Africa) working on the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). She has served on the front lines protecting the citizens of the United States by deploying to El Paso, TX in support of the H1N1 influenza virus; New York City’s JFK
International Airport Quarantine Station during the Ebola response, CDC Atlanta Emergency Operation Center (EOC) for the Zika Virus, and Texas and Michigan during the COVID-19 response. Ms. Rashid is a Gold Plus Life Member of Blacks in Government; a national organization where she has
been recognized on the National, Regional, and Local levels. She has held the position of 2 nd Vice President on the National Level. On the Local level, Ms. Rashid has held the offices of president, and treasurer, chaired several events, and is currently serving as a Parliamentarian. Ms. Rashid is a Golden
Life Member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. In this international organization, she currently serves as a State Appointed Officer and has held the positions of president, 1 st Vice President, Daring to Realistically Empower the African Minds Membership Intake Coordinator, treasurer, and auxiliary advisor in her local chapter. She is also a Silver Life Member of the NAACP where she serves on the Political Action Committee (PAC) and Legal Redress
Committees both in the local NAACP DeKalb Branch. She prides herself on her commitment to making a difference in the community through these organizations. Ms. Rashid holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus on Human Resource Management, and a Master of Public Administration, with a concentration on the government sector. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and with Distinction, respectively. She is a member of the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society and held a membership in the Society for Human Resources
Management (SHRM). Ms. Rashid is the proud parent of one son: Tirrell (TUR-REHL).
